This program helps you stay in touch with your friends online. You can: 1. See if people you know are online. 2. Control who can see and contact you. 3. Send and receive instant messages. You need GPRS/3G connection and a valid MSN account.%#You can select which account to sign in.  Up to 3 accounts can be stored but only one account may be used for sign in.  To edit the accounts, simply move the focus to the account desired and evoke "Sign in prefs" from the menu option.%#You can edit an existing account or add a new account for sign in.  When creating a new account, you can select whether you wish to have your password saved.  If password-save is enabled, please remember to change your password online if your device is lost or stolen.  If not, you are prompted to enter your password everytime you sign in.  The password is case sensitive.  There is no limit to how many trials you have to guess your password should you have forgotten it. If "Auto sign-in" is enabled, every time you start the application, it uses the account you signed in successfully last time to make connection.  This setting only applies to account with password saved. %#Your contacts are listed in groups.  Press LEFT-RIGHT Arrow Keys to browse your groups and UP - DOWN Arrows to scroll within the contact list. When a message is received, you are notified visually with a flashing bubble on the title bar and a pop-up notification window.  You can read the message right away, ignore it, or read it later by navigating to the Conversations List.  You can press the "Info" soft key or the menu option "Contact info" to access the contact person's information: display name, e-mail and presence status.%#To quickly get an overview of active conversations, choose the Conversations option from the menu, or press the LEFT-RIGHT Arrows to scroll through your groups in order to reach the Conversations screen.%#You can add a person if you know the person's e-mail address. To prevent accidental deletion of the contact, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion.%#To Block/Unblock a contact use the Block/Unblock item in the menu.%#Online status can be set differently for each account signed in. Simply set the desired status via the option My status to set your presence status.%#You can send instant messages - text and emoticons - to anyone online on your contact list.  Press UP - DOWN Arrow Keys to scroll up and down in the chat history. In this screen you can type a text message using the phone keypad. To save your time, use existing or your customized "Canned messages". Pressing "Send" sends the typed message. Pressing "Back" returns to the group you came from without closing the chat so that the chat history can still be viewed when you revisit. When your mobile device shows a subset of contacts and the contact you would like to chat with is not displayed, you can still send instant messages to the contact via "Send message".  Instant message is delivered as long as the contact is online.  "Close chat" returns to the group you came from and closes the chat.%#By pressing the "Contact info" from the chat screen menu, you can see the details of the contact person selected. When pressing "Contact info" from a group chat, you will see the two numbers on the top right corner - current user/ total users in chat - when you view each contact person's information.%#You can chat with several people at the same time in a group chat.  From the chat screen, activate menu option - "Invite user".  Select the online contact you would like to invite by hightlighting the contact and press "Invite".  The contact person then joins your conversation.%#Choose "Emoticons" from the menu option. There is a special emoticon table! Just select the emoticon you want to use and it will immediately be send to your text editor window.%#From the "Preferences" of the menu option, you can set the Sound and the Vibration effect to be On or Off to notify you of an incoming message. Your device must support this for this setting to take effect.  You can also set the "Contacts view" to show contacts in groups or by presence status so that it is easier to access the contact you would like to reach. When "Chatroom refresh" is On, it always scrolls the current chat history to the latest message received. With the "Power saving mode", you can set your handset to sign out and exit the application after a certain amount of idle time. "Auto-connect" does the opposite as it attempts to connect the server for you during regular intervals.%#Possible Scenarios for failure to maintain connection with the Windows Live server. Poor network service, no response from the Windows Live Messenger server, phone networking communication module crash or connection session blocked by another phone task.  Connection may be resumed after awhile. Otherwise, please re-sign in, restart Windows Live Messenger or restart your mobile phone to resolve the issue.%#"Exit" means sign out and exit application. If you simply want to be disconnected from the server but you haven't finished using the application, then simply just "Sign out".%#After your Windows Live Messenger trial period, you can choose to subscribe to the service at a fee determined by %#This application is an online application. Once you have signed on, the server will update the status of your contacts frequently which may shorten your battery life.
